Natalie Kaddas is the chief executive officer of Kaddas Enterprises, a second-generation family business. The company specializes in manufacturing thermoform plastic products and cutting-edge, custom solutions for the energy, transportation, and aerospace industries. Kaddas Enterprises has become a champion of protecting the global energy infrastructure against power outages caused by animals with their patented BirdguarD™ designs. Under Ms. Kaddas’ leadership, the company has pursued a global market strategy that has more than tripled revenues and grown net profits annually.
Ms. Kaddas has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry as a regional director of customer relations and room revenues for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Marriott Hotels. While placing a high priority on customer experience and business management, she grew revenues by 30 percent.
Jay Kaddas is a co-founder and part owner of the family business since Kaddas Enterprises' incorporation in 1987. His primary responsibility is new product innovation, design and development utilizing the latest CNC technology. He studied industrial architecture at the Utah Technical College.
He has designed and developed aerodynamic locomotive bodies and interiors for mass transit systems. He was a key member of the design and fabrication team for Air Force One remodel.
John joined Kaddas as our CFO/General Counsel after being a partner in a regional accounting firm, where is oversaw the firms Salt Lake Office. Prior to joining Kaddas he served on our Advisory Board and as our tax accountant. John graduated from Utah State University with bachelor’s degrees in accounting and economic, as well as his Master of Accounting. He also received his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University. As a professional John has had the opportunity to work both in law firms and an accounting firm in Washington and Utah. Outside of work John enjoys spending time with his family and serving in his community and church. He is also enjoys golfing and is an avid Gonzaga Basketball fan.
Erick comes to Kaddas with more than 30 years of experience in plastic manufacturing. Throughout his years of experience, Erick has implemented many manufacturing processes in assembly, tooling and machining. Erick is a proficient CNC/CAD CAM programmer,CNC 5 Axis Machinist and LEAN manufacturing manager.
In his spare time, Erick enjoys various creative projects, most recently, MIG/TIG welding. In times where no tools are allowed, his wife will whisk him off to the family cabin in West Yellowstone, where he becomes a creative in the kitchen, making homemade pasta and smoked meats. He has also been known to hand-craft award-winning parade floats and enjoy UTV off-road adventures.
Teresa has worked for Kaddas since 2014. She received her degree in Accounting in 2001 from the University of Utah. As Accounting/HR Manager she is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations at Kaddas. Teresa grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Utah in 1995. She enjoys traveling with her family and is an avid fan of UW Badger and Green Bay Packer football.
Chris Barrett graduated from BYU Provo with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He also received a Master of Science in engineering and industrial management from Old Dominion University. Chris has a back ground in design, reliability, hydraulics, and fabrication. He has experience in project management and improving equipment and system processes. He feels that communication is key in setting and maintaining successful outcomes and project timelines. He is moving from Complex Fabricators in Salt Lake City where he worked on design, fabrication processes, and planning for aerospace products.
Courtney has been with the Kaddas team since 2006. She began on the Production Team, where she continued to increase her roles and responsibilities that encompassed all levels of the Operation.
Including: Shipping/receiving; scheduling/purchasing and logistics.
Courtney moved to the Sales Department in 2016, where she supports our outside Sales Team, Manufacturer Reps, and Distributors. She leads our marketing efforts and serves as Account Management for our customers.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping, and kayaking with friends and family.
Todd has over 20 years of operations, procurement, supply chain management, and sales experience in the electrical utility industry. Todd has worked in both distribution and manufacturing within the industry with increasing responsibility. Todd most recently worked at Hubbell Power Systems as a Territory Manager in the Mountain West region for the last 11 years.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Central Michigan University. Over the years, his work experiences have allowed him to move and live throughout the United States. Finally settling in Utah, Todd and his family love living in the Salt Lake Valley and take full advantage of all that the Wasatch Mountains have to offer.
Heather joined Kaddas as a Regional Sales Manager in 2001 after graduating from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a degree in Industrial Distribution. In her nearly 20 years with Kaddas, she has been instrumental in helping Kaddas grow into an international company. Her efforts have included many projects that have impacted Kaddas’ ability to evolve into a leader in the thermoformed plastic industry, protecting wildlife, and protecting our customer’s assets. She has first-hand experience in several areas of the country and has spent a lot of time in the field with her customers.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys golfing and spending time with her family. She has a daughter that is involved in several activities and has been married to her husband, Kenny, since 2006. The whole family enjoys the outdoors and cheering for Husker football.
Jim Bider, Regional Manager since 2020, has over twenty years of successful experience in sales within the electric utility industry. He is a driven sales manager with a solid reputation in product promotion, creative sales strategies and leadership. Previously Jim was with UTILCO for eight years and before that, 20 years with Huskie Tools. Jim was drawn to Kaddas because it is a small growing company with core values that match his own. Jim is a family man that loves spending time outside with his family.
Jimmy Zapata is a sales professional with over 20years of experience in the Utility Industry. He started as a lineman, then continued his journey as a Distribution Line Design Technician for Florida Power and Light. Since then he has been a Hot Line Tool Demonstrator, Sales Engineer, Product Manager, and then Sales Manager in the Domestic and International Utility arena covering Substation, Distribution, and Transmission systems for companies like Hubbell and MacLean Power Systems. Jimmy also finds the time to volunteer for the city of Pembroke Pines FL as a youth soccer coach.
Brian graduated in 2011 from Stevens-Henagar college with his bachelor’s degree in business administration in Ogden Utah. He has 12 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, 10 OSHA certification, and also completed a Lean 101 course from Davis Tech College.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and family BBQs and Dutch oven cooking. He love anything outdoors from camping, fishing, hiking, to biking and kayaking.
Dennis comes to Kaddas with over 35 years of experience in advanced composite structures ranging from sporting goods to space structures and just about everything in between. His first real job was as a draftsman in the days before CAD. He has held numerous positions through out his career including shop technician, CAD drafter/designer, manufacturing engineer, manufacturing manager, program manager, quality manager. He is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, BSI trained lead auditor for ISO13485:2016 andISO9001:2015. He has quality management experience with ISO13485:2016,ISO9001:2015, AS9100 and NADCAP quality systems.
When not working, he enjoys brewing beer and riding his motorcycle to distant places.
